Dear Friends and Supporters,    July 7, 2007

Greetings to all our friends!!!!   We are on our way to Pennsylvania once again having just celebrated the Fourth of July. It is a real blessing and a freedom that we all enjoy to be able to travel around the country wherever and whenever we choose. We need to say a special thank you not only to the men and women in service to our country today but also to our senior friends who have served our country in the past to make these freedoms possible in the first place.     I remember a story that a woman in a retirement home told me . She was born in Austria. She was the oldest of three children. Her father was a businessman and they were considered to  be somewhat wealthy. Her Mother wanted her to learn how to run the household but she didn't want to because she didn't think she would need to know those things being wealthy. Her Mother’s philosophy was that she needed to know because they didn't know what the outcome of the war would be or where they would end up. They decided to flee to the United States but when they went to book passage they could only buy one ticket at a time. Her parents thought since she was the oldest child they would send her ahead to stay with relatives and meet up later when they got here. When she boarded the ship was the last time she ever saw her family again. Four days after she left, they closed the boarders and her family were not able to escape. She lost contact with them and didn't learn till years later what happened to them. Her household training came in handy because she was able to obtain work as  a housekeeper and a nanny and didn't have to rely on her relatives to support her. Her story broke my heart. We see so many folks who have similar stories to tell. I think we of this generation take to much for granted. We don't even realize just how good we have it. Thank God we have such a country to live in. I don't know about you but I sure am proud to be an American!!! My pride in this country is fortified  as we travel from place to place. I pray we never lose what God has so richly blessed us with!!!!     We just had a wonderful time with our friends in Trent , TX. We had a four day meeting there and we also held six meetings with our dear senior friends during the days we spent there. Our meetings with the church there proved very beneficial . Two young people accepted the Lord as their Savior and several decisions for rededication were made. The ladies in the church are some of the best hostesses and cooks in the country. Talk about southern hospitality!! We then moved on to Omaha, AR.  The folks at Bible Baptist are very dear to us. There were several decisions made for the Lord and the services were very well attended each evening. Our friends there bring such an excitement to the meeting that you can't help but to have a service filled with a worshipful attitude. We were also able to conduct another six meetings with the senior citizens in the Branson and Springfield, MO area.  These folks were a joy to minister to. The Pastor and his wife of Bible Baptist have a wonderful farm house that they always let us call home when we are in the area. It is complete with cows and  big farm dog. Butch feels right at home there. We are looking forward to spending some time there at Christmas!!     Now for a super big Blessing!!! We have taken delivery of our new mimi-bus.The Lord is so gracious! We have had several donations to come in to help us pay for the down payment. This was a short term loan from a friend to the ministry. We still need $3275.00 to cover that. The new vehicle is wonderful to say the least. We have already started to save money. Every time we pull up to the gas pump. we save approximately. $140.00!! Now isn't that a blessing to be thankful for?!?!   The Lord continues to take care of us and guide our steps as we cross the country. We thank all of you who continue to pray for us. I know in my heart, that is what keeps us safe. We take the fact that so many of you pray for us daily very seriously. Thank you again and God Bless till next time!!!!                   Roxann
