Dear
Friends and Supporters,
It’s been
awhile since our last formal newsletter. We have been staying very busy. In
the last 17 days we have conducted 47 services in nursing centers, senior
centers and retirement communities. That is just a sample of our daily
schedule. We have also conducted several revival meetings along the way. We
have been traveling 7 ˝ years non-stop now. We have officiated in over 5,750
meetings, met over 600,000 senior citizens while traveling in 22 different
states. In this span of time we have traveled just short of one million
miles in the service of the Lord. We want to take a moment to thank all
those who have partnered with us in this ministry. It takes all of us
working together. I thank God, especially, for our mutual vision and burden
for such an important work as this. There are some who support this ministry
on a monthly basis and what a blessing to be able to count on that support.
Just as important are the folks who schedule us for regular services as
those love gifts are necessary for our daily expenses. There are also those
who share a gift now and then, which always seems to come at just the right
time. All are important in getting the job done. In these years since the
senior citizen ministry began, we have not asked for one dollar. All the
financial help has come unsolicited and we know our Heavenly Father has put
us together. I just wish you could be there in person when we are in service
at these senior citizen facilities. What an expression of joy and excitement
among our senior friends. The appreciation as well, is worth just about
anything that would hope to discourage us.
If you
have the opportunity to attend one of the services while we are traveling in
your area, please, I challenge you to attend. It is no t your typical
nursing home experience. You will be amazed and inspired at their response.
In the past several months, I know personally that times have been tough and
many are feeling the pinch. But something needs to be said for those who
have trusted God in difficult times to continue supporting such an important
work. We look forward to seeing you in the near future as we come to a
nursing home near you.
